FLICKERFEST Deadline 29 August ‘Flickerfest’ is Australia’s only ®Academy Award accredited Short Film festival, and its largest short film competition. We are delighted to announce that we are now accepting entries from Australia and around the world. ‘Flickerfest’ will screen for 10 days at Bondi Beach in January 2009 before heading off on a national tour. The Festival consists of three competitive programs: International, Australian and Documentary as well as a number of special programs and forums out of competition. Application deadline for International Films is Friday 12th September 2008. Application deadline for Australian Films is Friday 29th August 2008.
HUMAN RIGHTS ARTS AND FILM FESTIVAL Deadline August 15 Reel Change is seeking powerful and innovative films from Australia and around the world that address the human impacts of climate change. Open to any genre, including documentary, narrative, animation, music video and experimental, we are looking for short films that deal with the issues of climate change, poverty and human rights. Thousands of dollars worth of cash and in-kind prizes awarded for the best Australian and international short film. To be eligible, films must have been made after 1 January 2007 and must be less than 15 minutes in duration.

As the Director i am seeking a producer with credits on his or her name to come on board and help with funding and production.
